Noah’s Ark CEO Challenges Colleagues

One of Liberia’s lead planner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Noah’s Ark Daycare, Primary, Jr. and Sr. High School in the Township of Gardnersville has challenged owners of private schools operating within the township, not to only focus on the collection of fees from students but also try to expose students to those things that they need to know as they grow up in school.
Mr. Joseph B. Bestman made the call recently during the observance of the school’s Daycare and Primary Division’s 10th anniversary held in the township.
The veteran educator disclosed that it is now time for private schools to take kids on field trips in order to expose them to the changing reality of life.
According to him, as a means of exposing his students, the school administration of the institution took the kids to Kakata City, Margibi County, where they saw different places, things, and were able to interact with other students and institutions.
He assured that the next time the school turns out; he will put out over 3,000 daycare and primary kids to demonstrate the strength of Noah’s Ark.
Over thousands kids along with their sponsors and parents paraded the principal streets of Gardnersvlle with a colorful house event singing songs led by a private matching band.
Earlier, the program’s chairman, Mr. Edward P. Bestman said that he was not surprised at the demonstration exhibited by the students because they were adequately trained to that.
He added that work without play makes Jack a dull boy, saying that this is why the school decided to bring their students out of their campus for public exposure. By Emmanuel D. Mondaye, Freelance Journalist
