Musa Sheriff Fetes Disadvantaged Youths On Natal Day

Dozens of disadvantaged youths converged on New Year’s Day at the residence of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ‘Educate West Point (EWP) in the Township of West Point to celebrate the natal day of the CEO, Mr. Musa Sheriff.

 During the colorful program, the Friends of Musa Sheriff (FOMUSA) together with the sports club founded by the EWP boss, Mr. Sheriff known as Young Boys FC were feted by the Secretary of EWP, Mr. Sekou Keita, who is steering the affairs of EWP as Mr. Sheriff is in the United States on an official business.

According to Mr. Keita every year, Mr. Sheriff thought it necessary to use his birthday celebration to put smiles on the faces of disadvantaged youths in and outside of the Township of West Point because, they are all human beings like every other person.

 During the festive birthday commemoration, the leadership of FOMUSA under the watch of Mr.  Keita cooked delicious meals including rice and shared drinks amongst the disadvantaged youths.

The ceremony was graced by Ambassador Alieu Silah who admonished the beneficiaries to see themselves as being part of the larger society. 

Similar occasion was held in 2021 at which time, Mr. Sheriff reminded young people including the disadvantaged youths to strive for positive change in their individual and collective lives by engaging in productive activities.

 He also told the beneficiaries at that 2021 program to desist from those bad habits such as drugs and drunkenness in order to become good citizens.
