Multitude Welcomes DNA’s Proposed Political Leader …As Party Convention Goes Nimba This Week

By Precious D. Freeman
The Presidential aspirant of the Democratic National Allegiance (DNA), William Weah Tuider, has been welcomed by thousands of Liberians as he braces for the Presidential and Legislative Election on October, 10, 2023.
Upon his arrival in Liberia yesterday, the DNA’s Presidential aspirant said he has come to declare his intention for the Liberian presidency because almost 200 years old Liberia continues to be a deplorable country where people are suffering on a daily basis.
According to him, other reasons for his intent for the presidency is because the country has fallen into the hands of a government whose administration does not know what to do.
The Presidential aspirant who claimed that he was born in Yekepa, Nimba County, added that looking down and seeing where the country stands, one can see that there is no future for the youths.
Mr. Tuider further stated that he believes in democracy because when the people speaks, he prioritizes their speech by putting the country first before his interest.
“I don’t have to come up to the media whenever I help my country because of the love I have for Liberians, but I must admit that I have been protecting Liberia because I am a guy who in the past brought ECOMOG in this country when Charles Taylor became President,” he explained.
He continued that some of what he advocated for was peace which is what the Liberians are enjoying today, adding that currently, he does not want only peace but also economic freedom.
“Part of my vision for Liberia is to actually invest in the rule of law in order to get justice and freedom, because the rule of law is the ambition of any democracy in the country; without the rule of law your country crumbles. If you are building your house without a strong foundation, any little breeze can break down the house, so we need a strong justice system in this country,” the DNA proposed standard bearer maintained.
The Presidential aspirant claimed that he is connected around the world, and it was through his connections that he was able to assist President George Weah during his campaign in 2011 when he was running as vice under Winston Tubman.
“My parents were not rich people, but the concern that I have is to make sure that the Liberian people do not lack and for a country to grow, you have to be peaceful,” he insisted.
He expressed regrets that past and present governments have not focused on the next generation and therefore, he has come to make life better for them.
Meanwhile, the newly birthed DNA will be hosting its National Convention beginning today in Gompa City, Nimba County.
