The Federation of Motorcyclists Association in Liberia (NAFOMTAL), Bassa Detachment, has launched a cleaning campaign at the Administrative Building of Grand Bassa County in Buchanan.
The initiative comes as the county prepares to welcome a new Superintendent, underscoring the motorcyclists’ dedication to maintaining public spaces.
Members of the association gathered at the Administrative Building, which houses several key public offices, to clear debris, sweep, and restore the premises.
This effort is part of an ongoing commitment by the motorcyclists to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment in the city.
Speaking to reporters, the President of NAFOMTAL Bassa Detachment, Ize Bulubyla, reaffirmed the group’s dedication to community service. He emphasized that the association is not only focused on transportation but also on contributing positively to the county.
“Grand Bassa is all we have; we should all come home and support our county in every way possible,” Bulubyla stated.
He assured residents that the motorcyclists will continue working peacefully with the new county administration and supporting initiatives that benefit the community.
The campaign highlights NAFOMTAL’s broader efforts to promote unity, cleanliness, and cooperation among citizens and local leadership.
As Grand Bassa County transitions to new leadership, the association’s initiative serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to maintain public spaces and foster development.
