The Liberia National Police has arrested a 29 year old Liberian woman identified as Joyce Cole for tying and unmercifully flogging her biological son.
Suspect Cole was arrested during the morning hours on Thursday, June 30, 2022 by the police investigators in Neklay Town Community, Jacob Town after a tip-off from a neighbor who found the kid tied up with bruises all over his body.
She is currently in the custody of the Liberia National Police and undergoing investigation.
The child was immediately turned over to the father for his care while the investigation continues and suspects Cole will be duly charged and forwarded to court to face prosecution under the law of due process.
