MCSS Students Union Wants Assistant Sup. Robertson Removed

Some aggrieved students at the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) yesterday staged a protest demanding the removal of Assistant Superintendent Emmanuel Robertson
According to the student’s plead, because the position is a civil servant’s position, President Boakai should see reasons to recall the appointment of the Sup. Robertson.
“Mr. President, because of this oversight made by you, our System is about to collapse and we the students cannot sit and allowed this to happen,” they decried.
According to the students Union’s president, Sam Siryon, a few months ago the Student Union of MCSS wrote the President’s office through the office of the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, but up to now they are yet to get a response from the Minister.
“His Excellency, the students are crying and pleading with you and if you fail to listen to them, Mr. President you will be responsible for whatsoever that will happen in the students’ community of MCSS,” the students’ president alarmed
The president maintained that the students have grown impatient because of Mr. Robertson’s continuous disrespect and unprofessionalism exhibited to both the students and the System.
The president disclosed that Sup. Robert self-serving ambition and his attempts against Superintendent James A. Momoh are creating harmful divisions within the community.
Siryon noted that Superintendent Momoh has consistently demonstrated his commitment to enhancing the schools and fostering a positive educational environment. These actions stand in stark contrast to the core values.
MCSS thrives on collaboration, dedication, and a commitment to the well-being of the students, staff, and community saying, “It’s time to reflect on our actions and prioritize the success and unity of our school system.”
According to them, the recent behavior of Assistant Sup. Robertson reflects selfish and greedy aims that threatens the integrity and progress of our school system.
“We are particularly concerned about his attempts to influence a student, Andrew Kenyor, to act against Superintendent Momoh, who we all know is tirelessly working to improve our schools” they stated
The students’ leader stressed that Assistant Superintendent Robertson’s actions undermine the hard work and create unnecessary division.
“We urge Assistant Superintendent Mr. Robertson to reconsider his actions and to prioritize the well-being and unity of our school system. It is only through collaboration and mutual respect that we can achieve our shared goals for a better educational future,” the students concluded.
