Watkins, Chairperson of the Movement For Better Change disclosed.

Chairman Watkins was speaking when community members gathered in their numbers on the Bilicon Foot Field on the Pipeline Road in Paynesville over the weekend for Clark’s petitioning ceremony.

According to him, they have unanimously decided to support aspirant Clark in the October 10, Presidential & Legislative Elections as Representative because he is a true son of the district who knows the challenges that they are facing daily.

“We are of the strongest conviction that being the son of the soil, you will adequately represent us; using your cardinal responsibility which are Representation, Lawmaking including Oversight as well as advocacy,” he pointed out.

Presenting the symbolic key of District 3 to Clark, Kumbah Goweh said that was an authority that they have given to their son saying that they trust that he will deliver.

She added that those who have been representing District 3 over the years have failed to serve the people or even advocate on their behalf and as such, they are in compelling need of a change in leadership.

Clark then applauded the people for their decision to have petitioned him as he positively responded to their request describing the decision as realistic and also timely vowing that he will not let them down.

“As a popular aspirant of our noble district, am aware of challenges that the people are encountering so, I will endeavor to do all in my power aimed at finding solutions to address them,” he said.

According to him, he has done his campaign in the district ever since mentioning in areas like the Pipeline Clinic, the Town Hall including the Police Station among other projects.

“I am called the godfather by the people that is why all the people who came here today for the program did that based on their own volition,” he explained.

Mr. Clark then asserted that he had been campaign manager for many Representatives for the district but they have not provided the needed services and so he will undoubtedly deliver his people from the difficulties they continue to suffer.

Clark is contesting to unseat Representative Barshell.
