LRRRC Boss Appeals To Victim Toe’s Family …As Community Intervenes In Family Feud

The Executive Director of the Liberia Refugee, Repatriation, Resettlement Commission (LRRRC), Festus Logan is said to be appealing with victim Oldman Abraham Bangula and the community for forgiveness on behalf of his family.
He made the appeal at a mass meeting on Monday evening, called by the Community Chairperson at M. Dinglin Dukuly’s residence in the Peace Community, Upper Caldwell where they all reside.
It is reported that Logan’s ward, Samuel Johnson and son, Courage who allegedly strike Oldman Bangula alias Tarpeh Toe several times with sticks in the face which almost resulted to the death of the 58 year old victim in Upper Caldwell on Saturday, May 15.
The severity of Toe’s wound which placed a deep cut in his upper lip and perhaps broke his front teeth led him to receive 17 stitches after being rushed to the New Hope Medical and Laboratory Clinic in the same community.
When the matter was reported to Zone 7 Depot 1 in Samukai Town, it was alleged that the police refused to take siege of the case apparently on grounds that the LRRC boss is a ranking official in the current regime.

His wife, Maima Logan, who was also in attendance at the mass meeting was accused of threatening to waste acid on some members of the community who had gone to her residence during that fateful night.
The Logans are said to be leaders in the Grace and Mercy Church situated in Peace Community, Upper Caldwell.
