LRA Climaxes Tax-payers’
Appreciations Week

The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has concluded it’s tax-payers appreciations week with a Diner, honoring tax payers for their compliance in several categories.
Tax payers were appreciated in Large Medium and small tax categories.
This year’s appreciation was held under the theme “Moving to Billion, Increase tax compliance for national transformation”.
The tax payer’s appreciation week began on last Wednesday Dec 8 when President George Weah officially declared second National Revenue Symposium open.
The symposium was the second national revenue symposium meant to foster conversations surrounding tax compliance and improving on our digital platforms.
On Thursday, The Liberia Revenue Authority launched a One-Stop-Shop at the ministerial complex for the payment of taxes and other fees.
The center which is housed in the civil service agency section at the ministerial complex, will afford tax payers the time to pay their taxes without coming to LRA head office.
The center which has several windows for paying taxes will host various ministries as well as commercial banks.
On Friday LRA Commissioner General and team witness the graduation of over sixty customs officers from the Liberia national police training academy.
This is the graduation of the second class of customs officers trained in basic police science training.And on Saturday; LRA climaxed the Dinner giving out thirty awards to deserving tax payers. ArcelorMittal won the overall highest and most compliant tax payer.
