LPRC Fulfills Corporate Social Responsibility

In alignment with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals, the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC) has made a substantial donation to Feed My Children Academy.
The LPRC contributed US$2,880 worth of zinc and roofing materials to support the school’s ongoing construction project.
This donation is part of the company’s broader commitment to enhancing education and fostering sustainable development in Liberia.
LPRC was represented by the Assistant Manager for Social Corporate Responsibility, Tarplah Z. Davis, who emphasized that the donation reflects the company’s dedication to positively impacting society and reinforcing its CSR efforts.
Mr. Davis highlighted the LPRC’s belief in supporting local initiatives and contributing to community development while the CEO of Feed My Children Academy, Alex Koliyah, expressed profound gratitude for LPRC’s support.
He explained that Feed My Children Academy, a tuition-free institution founded in 2017 and serves abandoned and less fortunate children, single parents, and orphans who lack access to quality education.
Koliyah assured that the materials would be used effectively for the construction project and praised LPRC’s historic contribution.
“This donation is not just a boost for our project but a significant step towards providing quality education for those who need it most,” Koliyah stated.
“Despite numerous requests, LPRC is the only institution that has come to our aid. We are deeply grateful to Amos B. Tweh and his team for their generous support, which will have a lasting impact on the children of Liberia,” he pointed out.
The donation underscores LPRC’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational initiatives and contributing to the sustainable development of Liberia.
