Maryland County, the host toped group ‘D’ over Grand Kru and Montserrado. The host of the group drew with Grand Kru putting Montserrado in a position to fight for a compulsory win in order to join the train to the capitol.

Bong also defeated Sinoe 2-1 yesterday to even points with Margibi that defeated Gbarpolu 2-1 to take the two top spots of group ‘B’ with four points each followed by Gbarpolu County that has three points from two matches.

Nimba was again unable to collect straight win and will have to struggle if there be a possibility to see the defending champions make their way to town in the ongoing edition of the National County Sports Meet.
