Liberia has been selected to host the first edition of the exponential conference which aimed at revitalizing ministries with focus on practical insights to transform business leadership, and Liberia’s National leadership deficit.
The meeting is scheduled to take place July 23, 2024 at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Monrovia.
The flagship program is organized by Elevation Church in partnership with Life Nation and Equip Leadership under the theme “Catalysts for the next wave” and the one day event with expected participants of 500 from across the African region, will also focus on acquired tools to run effective church and entrepreneurship.
Key speakers are Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Convener, Exponential Conference, and Pastor Yemi Davids, Global Lead Pastor, Global Impact Church. Also, other leaders from Liberia will make presentations and the event will be interspersed with practical sessions to give participants the chance to share their experiences.
Speaking at a news conference, the organizers said they are firm believers in the transformative influence of visionary churches creating a positive impact on the world.
Vision is for a better world, and they want to inspire church leaders to share in that vision. “Together, we can be catalysts for the next wave of glory, transform lives, church leadership, and the world.”
Moreover, providing overview and background of the occasion, the Pastor of the Life Church, Varney E. Qualah, narrated that the Elevation Church is a Nigerian based church with branches around the world which branded over eight years and said Liberia was picked to host the first edition of this conference for the first time outside Nigeria.
“This conference will be hosted in Liberia to enhance activities of the body of Christ and build capacity of business leadership,” he assured.
“We came in contact with exponential conference 2019 incorporating over 70 pastors over the last years for the conference, to help them learn and operate church in a better way. Exponential is coming to Liberia in this month, July 23, 2024 at the EJS Ministerial Complex beginning at 9 am with no cost to participants, he added.
Buttressing Mr. Qualah, the Co- Pastor, New covenant Church, Christina Doe, added that the church will benefit structuring of leadership, working with young and children, as well as revamping leadership.
“Every nation has its own challenge when it comes to leadership and I think Liberia has it share. As my colleagues have said this event is an eye opener which we want people to come and get the knowledge of transformation,” said Pastor Doe.
Also speaking Coordinator of Equip Leadership Liberia, Benedict Danuweli, termed the meeting as an eye opener for Liberia which he mentioned is opened to pastors, business leaders and church workers.
He added that the conference will delve into economic leadership which will help participants improve their church or business activities.
Danuweli stressed, “The deficit of leadership exist across Africa and this model will address and make known some of the things that will improve leadership and bridge the difficult gap.”
