Liberia Launches ECOWAS Gender Program Today

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection and the Ministry of Health will launch the ECOWAS Gender Program today, August 29, 2024 at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex.
The launch organized by Liberia’s Gender Minister Gbeme Horace Kollie and Health Minister Louise Kpoto, Louise Kpoto, will be held in collaboration with an ECOWAS Commission delegation led by Madam Professor Fatou SOW SARR, Commissioner Human Development and Social Affairs who is on a four-day official visit in Liberia.
Madam Sarr is accompanied by other officials along with Director of ECOWAS Gender and Development Center, Sandra Oulate Fattoh.
She will also hold a high level relevant consultation with government officials, meet fistula survival and the girls of Excellence with a field visit to the Phebe Hospital Fistula Program to determine the needs for future funding.
