Lawlessness At Bureau On Concession? …Director Accuses Two Deputies

The head of the National Bureau of Concession-NBC, Col. Gregory Coleman has accused two of his deputies of physically attacking him in his office.
In a communication to staffers of the Bureau of Concession yesterday, Col. Coleman accused Daddy Gibson, Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA) and Nathaniel Bracewell, Deputy Director General for Concession DDGC of assaulting him in his office while he was at work.
Colonel Coleman expressed regrets over the actions of his two deputies, describing it as unacceptable the behavior of the two deputies.
“It saddens me to inform you all that, yesterday I was physically attacked and feloniously restrained by my two deputies,” he stated.
“As you all may be aware over time, there has been an escalation from wrongful communication to incitement, then provocation, now verbal insult and physical assault,” he averred.
Explaining his ordeal further, Coleman said, the two Deputies aggressively entered his office and physically attacked him in the process, pointing fingers in his face, insulting him and violently banging on his desk.
“The DDGA stood in the visitor chair, while the DDGC took comfort in sitting on my desk; they went on banging and insulting me and my generation,” he stated.
“They both made series of phone calls for vanguard forces from the CDC headquarters to back them up in their pursuit, including an alleged call to Col. Patrick Sudue, requesting for six ERU officers to come and drag me out of my office. All of this was done in the presence of the head of the HR, Legal Director, Office Assistant and the security,” he stated.
According to Director Coleman, social media attacks coupled with verbal attacks have been some of the major threats that the two officials have been using against him.
He further stated that yesterday being the worst of all the attack of the two deputies, which prompted some concerned staffers of the institution to go to his rescue.
“I decided to leave the office, at which time they both tried to restrain me from leaving” he stated.
Director Coleman said, while they were attacking him, he heard them calling thugs who arrived in response to their call, blocked the entrance and exit of the Bureau, preventing him from leaving the compound.
“Thanks to the securities who managed to break the lock on the other unused gate to let me out,” he stated.
“As Chief Executive Officer of the National Bureau of Concession, I cannot guarantee the safety of employees under these conditions, as such; employees are advised to remain on the premises based on their personal comfort levels, as there will be no administrative action taken against anyone who does not report to work due to the prevailing situation,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Director Gregory Coleman said, he had reported the incidence to the relevant authority including the office of the President of Liberia and the Justice Ministry.
According to him, he is reserving every action until those relevant authorities can look into his complaint. He further stated that the Director General of the Liberia National Police-LNP, Patrick Sudue informed him that no one called him requesting him to send ERU officers.
“I am working with the Office of the President and the Ministry of Justice to restore order and sanity as soon as possible. I sincerely apologize for the situation, with commitment to the earliest possible resolution of this crisis,” he stated.
