Kool FM’s Onanuga Appointed Ambassador At Large For Tourism

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has appointed Christopher Hayes Onanuga as Ambassador at Large for Tourism in Liberia.

Onanuga’s appointment is apparently based on his passion for the sector and how he has contributed immensely to the country’s tourism sector.

The Ambassador at Large over decades has committed himself to the hosting of events across the country, including the National Excellence Award (NEA) aimed at allowing young Liberians to express their talents to the rest of the World.

His passion to improve tourism did not just end at hosting events but also inviting international guests to the country, which aimed at drawing their attention to its tourism sector.

Liberia, according to his experience, has a lot to explore to the outside, something according to him on a local radio and TV show can easily be achieved only by passionate, well connected people with expertise like him.

He said that if focus was given to the sector since, like in the case of President Boakai, the country would have received so much funding that could help boost the economy of the nation.

Onanuga is a veteran in the media business Worldwide, evidenced by the establishment of various media houses across Africa and the world at large.

The Tourism Ambassador at Large is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ct.com Liberia, Kool 91.9FM/ TV and knewsonline.com, Ghana, and Sierra Leone; these institutions are said to have always placed a premium on tourism and built the capacity of many young people today.
