Koinah Representative Bid Gets Big Boost

By Patrick N. Tokpah
Ahead of the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections in Liberia, a group of women in Palala Town, Kpaai District # 1 under the banner ‘Galafama Women Association’ has pledged their support to the representative bid of Prince K. Koinah.
Galafama Women Association is a group of women, who are hugely involved in a ‘DAILY SUSU’ social commitment in the District.
Pledging the group’s support to Representative Aspirant Koinah, the Secretary General of the group, Florence Paye, said that the level of development undertaken by Mr. Koinah is undoubtedly enough to support his 2023 political ambition.
The residents said they are giving their support to Mr. Koinah because he is a leader who seeks the interest of the district in terms of development.
The women’s group named the provisions of scholarships for grade school and university students, the construction of town halls, bridges, the construction of farm-to-market roads and the donation of medical materials to health facilities in the district, and some personal intervention to residents by Mr. Koinah as tangible reasons why they have cohesively chosen to support him.
“It’s now time that we support somebody like Koinah who we see as a developer for our district through socio-economic and political emancipation caused by the poor leadership of Representative Albert Hills,” the women noted.
Galafama Women Association asserted that the only way as inhabitants of District 1 will enjoy the development of the district is by supporting a developer to the national leadership.
The women pledged their support on March 18, 2023, when they encountered Koinah and his entourage in Palala Town, and indicated that the group has more than 450 members and is prepared and ready to support the Representative bid of Prince K. Koinah in the district.
Responding to the women’s group, Koinah thanked the women for the initiatives and pledged to fully work along with them, adding, “We all need to work for the betterment of District 1 and Bong County at large.”
He also lauded the Palala women for taking the right decision to have pledged their support to him ahead of the 2023 elections in the country and assured the women of his commitment to continue to improve their lives through the needed development of their beloved district.
