Decontee: How are you?

Troehndeh: I am doing great.

Decontee: it is a pleasure having you here.

Troehndeh: I am glad to be here as well.

Decontee: what is your name?

Troehndeh: my name is Mrs. Troehndeh Early Boedor

Decontee: Are your parents still alive?

Troehndeh: Yes, both my parents are still alive and they are moving strong. My mother’s name Is Hannah N. Karngar and my father’s name is Pianapue Early.

Decontee: Where are you from?

Troehndeh: I am from Grand Bassa County and my parents are both from there too.

Decontee:  How were your childhood days?

Troehndeh: My days as a child were not really that enjoyable, because I lived with relatives throughout. Around 2001 and 2002, my father sent for me in America, but after a year, he sent me back to Liberia for reasons I can’t explain. When I came back, I started high school while I was living with an aunty of mine. I graduated from the Philip Preparatory School located in Fiamah, Sinkor.

Decontee: Were there any challenges you had while in high school?

Troehndeh: I was faced with a lot of challenges; tuition was one of my major challenges I had back in high school. My parents never had money to support my education. Though my parents never had the hand, a friend of mine took me to her mother to help with my tuition, and with the help of God, she began to support my education till graduation. After high school, I couldn’t enter university because my parents never had the hand to enrol me into a university, so I waited for some time before going to college.

Decontee: What are some experiences you had living on your own?

Troehndeh: I started living life on my own in 2003 when I was still in high school; life at that time was not the best of experiences. In that time, I met my husband who is a pastor now, Pastor Aaron Boedor. He helped my mother in supporting my education through university. I am so grateful for the kind of man God gave me; we understood each other from the start. When we were boyfriend and girlfriend, we never fought a day, but rather, lived together in a peaceful environment till now. We are now married with children, so I really did not encounter any hard time in my relationship.

Decontee: How many children do you have?

Troehndeh: I have three children

Decontee:  What are you doing for living?

Troehndeh: I am an early childhood educator, a house wife, and church mother. I have been teaching for the past eight years; my church is located in Old Road Smythe Road Community, Gate of Beautiful Restoral Ministry.

Decontee: What is your success story?

Troehndeh: I have achieved a lot over the years, for the fact that I never had school fees in high school, but I graduated from the LICOCESS Mobile Teacher Training College and today I am a teacher, and it is great achievement. I am glad that I am giving back to the nation by teaching those kids; I know that they will go out there and become great leaders for tomorrow. At times, some of their parents will come to me and thank me, because their child or children are doing well, and I feel very good within myself to hear such news.

Decontee: How is it like being a church mother?

Troehndeh: I feel pleased within myself, because I am doing the work of God. He called me and my husband to his ministry and my husband is an ordained pastor of the gospel of God. It is difficult at times to deal with by teaching the gospel, especially to the young people, but we keep praying and God is helping us through. Currently, we have a lot of young people working as ministers in the church.

Decontee: Do you have a message you want to send out?

Troehndeh: I have a message for the nation, especially for the youth within the nation. They should know that God is the only one who seeks our interest in this world; as long as God exists, there is nothing too hard that he cannot do and that we cannot achieve. The young people should know God for themselves and leave the streets, mostly for those that are in the streets. All is not gone yet; they still have the time to do something better for their lives if only they believe and trust in God.
