Judge Quoi Takes Over Traffic Court In Nimba

The judicial branch of government has with immediate effect appointed Stephen Quoi, as the acting assigned judge of the traffic court in the 8th Judicial Circuit situated in Nimba County.
Speaking to the Police Chief of Traffic, Jerome Wesse, he described the appointment of traffic court judge as welcoming news for the LNP traffic division in Nimba County.
According to LNP Chief of Traffic Wesse, LNP is in consultation with the office of the County Attorney to auction abandoned accident vehicles and motorbikes that have overstayed at the various LNP stations in Nimba .
Speaking to the Inquirer, the County’s City Solicitor, Roland Dolo, boasted about the appointment of the acting traffic court judge Quoi, stating that the appointment is in the best interest of the county for people seeking justice.
“Stephen Quoi is now the newly assigned acting traffic court judge that is clothed with the responsibility to judge all traffic cases or related cases that will come from the police to the court,” Dolo pointed out.
When contacted in his chamber, acting Judge Stephen Quoi, confirmed his appointment to take over the traffic court in Sanniquellie.
“The Traffic court has been without an assigned judge in the county for over decades therefore, my appointment is a welcoming news for people seeking justice,” acting judge Quoi said .
Nimba is among the 15 counties of Liberia that is next to Montserrado with ranking vehicular accident cases or accident related cases according to a report released by the Police detachment in Nimba County.
