Joekai Gets Appointment To ASA Board

Margibi County Third Division League Champions Africa Sports Academy (ASA) has appointed Joekai George Yango as Vice president for Administration of the Board of Directors of the club.
Yango, a young practicing journalist in the county, was appointed to the position to serving the sports administration last Friday March 8, 2024 through a communication released to the public by the club and shared with their official social media outlet.
The upper Margibi County third division club disclosed that Joekai’s appointment is a testament of his love for sports and contributions made to the development of the game in the county.
According to the club, Joekai is from a background of multi-talent as an individual rooted in sports, journalism, public speaking, humanitarian work, human rights advocacy, social justice, and anti-corruption activism. “His diverse skillset and passion for making a positive impact in the community make him an invaluable addition to our team.”
The club furthered that Joekai’s appointment as Vice president for Administration is a significant milestone for them as a team, and they are confident that he will excel in this role, adding that they are excited about the positive impact he will have on our organization, and they are eager to see the great things he will accomplish.
“We have full confidence that Joekai’s leadership and expertise will propel our club to new heights and help us achieve our goals. His dedication to excellence and commitment to upholding our club’s values make him the perfect fit for this role,” the statement noted.
In his remark of acceptance of the task, Joekai Yango thanked the management team of ASA for trusting in his workings across the sport sector to have him appointed to the board of the club.
He said that the appointment is not only a testament to the trust and confidence placed in him by the management and staff, but also a significant milestone in his professional journey.
“I vow to bring my utmost dedication, integrity, and professionalism to the role of Vice president for Administration. I will work tirelessly to streamline processes, enhance communication channels, and foster a collaborative work environment that empowers every member of the team to excel in their respective roles,” he promised.
According to him, he is eager to leverage his experience and expertise to identify opportunities for growth and development within the academy, and whether it has to do with implementing innovative strategies, forging partnerships, or enhancing resource allocation, he is committed to driving positive change and contributing to the continued success of Africa Sports Academy.
Others appointed by the club are Manjoe Koiyon as Vice president for technical Affairs and players welfare, and Musa Siryon as Vice president for Operation.
