The foreign football manager visiting Liberia from Sweden for engagements with the newly promoted Liberia First Division outfit, Black Man Warrior, and JK Sports Management Academy, has touched down in Liberia and is expected to kickoff visit operations soon.
Swedish football expert, Sebastian Daka, touched down in Liberia on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Robert International Airport, with smile and excitement to be in the West African region for the sake of youth football development.
The high-profile Swedish football coach was welcomed and received by Black Man Warrior (BMW) president, G. Nelson Meanyeah and Julius Jay Kwateh, the Chief Executive Officer of JK Academic Agency, upon arrival at the airport.
The Swedish is in Liberia for the first time on a month-long visit facilitated by JK Academic Agency in Indonesia, Black Man Warrior, and Sisu Sports Management, with a target on sharing his expertise with the Liberia national second division champions and other athletes through the club’s grassroot program.
While in Liberia, Coach Daka will conduct several training sessions with Black Man Warrior (BMW) Under-17 team, which is currently preparing for their upcoming trip to Finland, as well as Black Man Warrior first team, in early preparations for the 2024/25 Liberia Football Association Orange First Divisions League season.
Daka is expected to hold his first training session with the lads of the Warriors’ Under-17 team tomorrow at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia, where he will interact with the young prospects that are taking football as a career for the future.
Being a very influential football coach, Daka has managed several clubs’ youth teams in and out of Sweden, and is noted for rapidly developing young players, which makes his visit to Liberia an opportunity for the teams and players that will interact with him during his stay.
