Jeremiah Suah Clinches Best Referee Award In Bong County

Liberia Football Referees Association (LIFRA), Class ‘B’ Referee, Jeremiah K. Suah, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, bagged a certificate of awards as the Best Referee in the just ended 2022/2023 League Season of the Liberia Football Association Bong Sub-Association Third Division League.

The achievement of the young match official, Suah, who is a Bachelor of Science Degree holder from the Cuttington University in Gbarnga since June 24, 2023, was based on his stunning performance during the just ended league season of the local football house, according to sports lovers in Central Liberia.

The award marks the first of its kind for the Class ‘B’ referee in Bong County.  Suah is so far one of Bong County’s best on the domestic scene, with evidence, as regards to him being selected or chosen by LIFRA to officiate several major competitions, such as the Orange National League, the National County Sports Meet, the National Third Division Regional, and Promotional Playoffs, among others.

He was featured on two occasions, in the nation’s most watched sporting festival, the NCSM, specifically the 2020/2021 and 2022/2023 seasons, all as a reserve referee in Bong County.

Currently, Suah is playing in the Orange National First Division League, after gaining promotion from the Second division League, where he played for a season.

While being a Referee, Jeremiah Suah is not just focused on Sports; he is currently a volunteer teacher at the County’s biggest government run high school – Dolokelen Gboveh, where he had been focused on teaching for the past four academic years, teaching the Liberian generation of his kind in the subject area of Geography.
