The renowned philanthropist, Upjit Singh Sachdeva, brought joy to the hearts of no less than 3,000 children in Weala, Margibi County, following the hosting of a July 26 party for the kids.
The Indian business tycoon, popularly known as Jeety, during the well-attended party, also identified with the children through the provision of hot cooked meals and toys at his Jeety Rubber LLC facility in the county.

The event, which took place on July 26, 2023, in observance of the country’s 176th anniversary, was a powerful reminder of the spirit of compassion and unity that continues to thrive in the nation.
The festivities began in the afternoon as community dwellers, volunteers and organizers arrived, transforming the environment into a vibrant carnival-like atmosphere. Colorful decorations adorned the premises, and a stage was set up for various performances and speeches.

As the clock struck evening, the air was filled with anticipation as Jeety made his grand entrance, accompanied by a group of his staff and media practitioners, and was greeted with thunderous applause from the kids and their parents.

The event featured an array of engaging activities tailored to uplift the spirits of the children, as some kids did live performances through dancing and singing to entertain the crowd.

Jeety, known for his selfless contributions to society, fed the children with cooked jollof rice, chicken, soft drinks, and water at the facility, filling them with hope, laughter, and renewed optimism.

In his opening speech, Jeety emphasized the need for the children, whom he described the country’s future leaders, to be celebrated and catered to, disclosing that he and team are committed to ensuring that smiles are put on the faces of the children every big day.

The impact of Jeety’s initiatives extended far beyond the confines of a single day. The Independence Day celebrations have become a catalyst for change, inspiring individuals and communities to come together in the pursuit of a brighter future.

Jeety’s dedication to empowering children, as well as incarcerated and marginalized populations across Monrovia and other counties, serves as a reminder that everyone deserves a chance at redemption, and a life filled with dignity.

In response to Jeety’s gesture, Local authorities and community dwellers thanked the Indian business tycoon for his selfless contributions to society, including Weala, which they said was practically a neglected community.

They further described the hosting of the July 26 party for their children as a gift from Jeety that will forever be remembered and cherished by every citizen and/or parent residing in the area.

Also in remark, Cinta Township Commissioner, Roland Johnson, whose face was filled with joy, also extolled Jeety and his team for the construction of Jeety Rubber LLC factory in Weala, noting that the facility has already begun boosting the local economy, as well as providing thousands of jobs for the citizens of Weala and its surroundings.

Commissioner Johnson, who also thanked the government for creating an environment that allows investments to flourish, said, “Jeety Rubber LLC facility is a statement of his love and concerns he has for this country and its people. Hence, we from this community want to thank you, Jeety; we love and appreciate all that you are doing for our country.”
