“I’m Here To Serve My People And Not For Salary” -Sen. Cyrus Asserts

Lofa County Senator, Momo Cyrus, says his primary purpose in serving as a senator is to benefit the people he represents and the country at large, and not for his monthly salary and benefits.
He emphasized that his commitment to the well-being of his constituents supersedes any personal gain or financial incentive, stating, “I’m here to serve my people and not for the salary.”
Reaffirming his dedication to improving the lives of those he represents and the country, Sen. Cyrus noted, “I’m an entrepreneur and have thousands of Liberians employed. So, colleagues, my first priority here as senator is to fully advocate and push for programs that will be in the interest of my people.”
Cyrus won as Senator of Lofa County during the October 10, 2023 Presidential and Legislative elections, defeating former Senator, Steven Zargo of Liberty Party, and Moses Kollie of the out-going Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).
