Sabastian Daka, a high-profile Swedish football coach, is expected in Liberia today, Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
The Swedish is coming on a month-long visit facilitated by JK Academic Agency, Black Man Warrior, and Sisu Sports Management.
While in Liberia, Coach Daka will train Black Man Warrior (BMW) Under-17 team, which is currently preparing for their upcoming trip to Finland.
He will also conduct training for BMW first team in early preparations for the 2024/25 Liberia Football Association Orange First Divisions League season.
Daka, being a very influential football coach, has managed several clubs’ youth teams in and out of Sweden and is noted for rapidly developing young players.
Sebastian Daka’s Football Coaching career has led him to accomplishing many outcomes and steering the affairs of many teams and young players around the world.
From 2018-2023, the gaffer headed FC Djursholm as coach. During this time, he managed the U-19 team of Superettan from 2022- 2023. The club is one out of two national youth leagues in the country it represents.
He was one of those at Levante summer camp 2023 working with coaches from Levante UD (La Liga) academy, training Swedish youth players. After the training session with the players, there were sessions with officials where a discussion was held on methodology of Levante.
In Kenya 2020, Sebastian Daka was in charge of Masa Football Academy and was responsible for a football camp in Nairobi, with the mission of organizing and structuring everything around the camp, as well as planning and conducting training sessions. Then he found himself working in a space where the players were between ages 16-22 years old.
He also coached the Swedish Football Academy. The academy specializes in individual training based on specific technical and tactical aspects. Players there are 10 years old and upwards, ranging from those who want to learn new tricks to professional players who want to refine their special skills.
