Heaven XI, LISCR Atop Ahead Of Round-Two Completion

While Round two of the Liberia football Associational national first division league is yet to be completed due to adjustments in some match fixtures, Heaven Eleven and LISCR Football Clubs are atop of the table.

The both sides are leveled on six points from winning two matches each but separate on the scale of goal difference. Heaven Eleven is currently in spot number one of the league chat followed by the defending champions of the title, the recent super cup winner and the holder of the FA Orange Cup.

In two games against new comers NPA Anchors and Runner-up Bea Mountain, LISCR scored three goals conceding none to sit under table leaders Heaven XI who defeated Invincible Eleven 4-2 in the opening fixture and Global Freeport 3-1 on Match Day two.

The ‘Shippers’ kicked of their rivalry against the runners-up of the 2022/2023 season Bea Mountain with a 1-0 win on Friday September 15, 2023 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia. The ‘Gold Boys’ from Kinjor in Grand Cape Mount County played and held their winning counterpart to a level score line until Maliki Kromah broke the deadlock with a header finding the lone goal of the match in the last added time.

With what appears to be a tremendous form in the league, the Heavenly Messengers remains another contending side that took up its incredible pace during the last stage of the second phase of the just ended league season. The team during pre-season revealed incredible preparation setting eyes on clinching the top league championship this season.

With a win and draw on four points, teams including Mighty Barrolle, Watanga and Nimba kwado football clubs appeared in chronological succession after their respective match day two fixtures. Paynesville is with two draws on two points as Bea Mountain, Global Pherma and Invincible Eleven all sit on the log with 0ne point from two matches.

Freeport is yet to record a win in their first two fixtures as they gear up to face Nimba Kwado in round three on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at the Floyd Tomah Stadium in Nimba county.

Cece United and NPA Anchors will continue their search for a win on today Tuesday, September 19, 2023 against FC Kallon of Liberia formerly of Muscat Football Club and LPRC Oilers. FC Kallon and Cece United meets at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium while LPRC Oilers and NPA Anchors meet at Tusa Field in Gardnersville to climax happenings in round two of the Liberia Football Association National First Division League.
