The Officer-In-Charge (OIC) at the Agape Health Center in Ganta, Jackson Quoibia has alerted a burglary at that private health facility in Nimba County.
OIC Quoibia explained that some criminals reportedly burglarized the clinic on the night of July 26, 2024 making away with patients mattresses, fans, and a traveling bag which contained his working ID and National ID cards as well as his Liberia Board of Nursing and Midwifery License, among others.
“Criminal activities in Ganta are becoming too much and this is the third burglary in this clinic in less than a year,” OIC Quoibia disclosed.
“On August 15, 2023, some unknown persons clandestinely entered the premises and stole a motorbike and on November 30, 2023, criminals again entered the compound and stole more motorbikes,” the OIC explained.
Since the beginning of August 2024 and the coming of Christopher Mansuo, as the new LNP Commander in Ganta, criminal activities couple with criminal related issues are reportedly on the increase and are creating serious concerns among the residents in the district.
Agape health clinic is among health centers in Ganta that are providing clinical services to many of the residents in nearby towns and villages along the Garr and Bain belt.
On behalf of the residents in Deakehmehn Community, elder Paul Weamie said criminal activities are on the increase due to the alleged failure of the Ministry of Justice to assigned arms Police in the district.
