As part of efforts for the rapid growth of handball across the country, the Liberia National Handball Association has announced the hosting of a mini county meet with six teams, at the University of Liberia Gymnasium on Capitol Hill.
The competition will kick off on Saturday, October 28, and end on November 25, 2023.
Counties that are expected to participate in the tournament include Montserrado, Lofa, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Grand Cape Mount, and Grand Kru.
The organizers are at the same time seeking sponsorship from the government, companies, and humanitarian organizations, to enable them have a smooth tournament.
