The Ministry of Justice will launch the National Anthem of Justice Campaign on Tuesday, April 25, 2025, in response to the rising wave of mob violence threatening communities across Liberia.
The initiative aims to restore order, strengthen law enforcement, and promote justice through legal means rather than vigilante actions.
Deputy Minister Daniel Sando expressed the government’s deep concern over the alarming trend, warning that mob violence, if left unchecked, could destabilize communities and discourage investment.
“We cannot allow this dangerous practice to take root in our society. This campaign will serve as a nationwide call to uphold justice, ensure due process, and prevent lawlessness,” Minister Sando stated.
Mob attacks have resulted in tragic loss of life and destruction of property, fueling fears of long- term instability.
The National Anthem of Justice Campaign will focus on raising public awareness, implementing policy reforms, and enhancing collaboration with security agencies to reinforce the rule of law.
The Ministry of Justice is therefore calling on all Liberians to reject mob justice and report crimes through proper legal channels.
As Liberia moves forward, the government remains committed to protecting its citizens, strengthening legal institutions, and ensuring that justice prevails over violence.
