Former Nat’l Housing Bank Turns Currency Center

In a major development for the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), the former National Housing Bank located down Waterside in Monrovia, has undergone a great transformation. The CBL has successfully converted the building into a modern state-of-the-art currency center.
This newly revamped edifice is set to revolutionize the operations of the CBL, providing a dedicated hub for all currency-related activities.
One of the key functions of the facility will be the disposal of mutilated or old bank notes. The currency center will play a major role in securely destroying these bank notes, ensuring the integrity of the national currency.
