First Lady, Second Lady Forge Partnership

First Lady Kartumu Y. Boakai has welcomed Stephanie Koung, wife of Vice President Jeremiah K. Koung, at her Executive Mansion Office in Monrovia.
In a brief discussion, Mrs. Boakai praised the young and vibrant Second Lady for her commitment to serving her country, imploring her to continue to do her best at all times.
As mother of the nation and former second lady, Mrs. Boakai took time to share her experience and expertise with Mrs Koung, as a way of further boosting her courage to serve Liberia.
The first and second ladies also discussed a wide range of issues of national concern and pledged to work together in supporting their respective husbands as they endeavor to transform Liberia.
Mrs. Koung thanked the First Lady for the invaluable examples and legacy she left during her role as Second Lady and thanked her for the incredible piece of advice.
The Second Lady assured her support and willingness to work in the interest of Liberia.
