FeJAL Develops Pool Of Female Media Trainers

The Female Journalists Association of Liberia has commenced a five-day training-of-trainers workshop for 15 senior female journalists with support from USAID through the Liberia Media Activity implemented by Internews in Liberia.
The training which kicked up on Monday, June 27, 2022 aims to enhance the professional development of women in the Liberian media and hone the skills of participants on how to plan and facilitate training workshop.
The training will focus on basic techniques in mentoring and coaching tips and as well provide professional guidance to entry level female journalists at both rural and urban media outlets.
This effort will also ensure that FeJAL maintains a pool of female media trainer to support its various training and mentoring activities designed for female journalists.
The female journalism mentors were selected to be trained following a competitive selection process through an open call for applications.
