FedEx Safeway Cargo TNT Engulf With Bankruptcy?

Inquirer Newspaper has reliably learned about the financial instability of FedEx Safeway Cargo TNT, with many Liberians are now speculating that the company may be on the brink of bankruptcy.
These rumors have however been fueled by several reports of mismanagement and allegations of bad labor practices and unfair treatment of employees within the company.
FedEx Safeway Cargo TNT, a major player in the shipping and logistics industry, and founded 1992 in Liberia, has long been known for its reliable and efficient services in Liberia and the world at large.
However, this latest reports have painted a different picture of the company, with employees coming forward to speak out against what they describe as a toxic work environment.
The Logistics & Courier House situated in Monrovia, is being headed by Henry Brunson and several current employees have also confirmed to this paper that Mr. Brunson has not paid to them their just salaries for months ranging from 6, 8, 10 and 11-12 months respectively.
They also accused Mr. Brunson and his management team of engaging in bad labor practices, including withholding wages, denying benefits, and subjecting workers to unsafe working conditions.
Many employees especially females have also alleged that they have been unfairly treated by the management, with some claiming that they have been discriminated against based on their gender.
One employee, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, described the working conditions at FedEx Safeway Cargo TNT as “inhumane” and “exploitative,” claiming that they are not also provided with proper safety equipment or training.
They are planning to stage a major protestation against the management in the coming days, demanding better treatment and fair compensation for all workers.
In addition to these allegations of bad labor practices, there have also been reports of financial mismanagement within the company, with some employees alleging that the company is struggling to deals with its many financial obligations.
This, according to the employees is somehow leading to concerns that the company may be facing bankruptcy in the near future as well as affecting service delivery and poor customer service with most staff deliberately treating customers carelessly.
However, Mr. Brunson has denied the claims, according to reports, disclosing that the company is committed to providing a safe and fair working environment for all employees.
Our source added that Mr. Brunson also emphasized that FedEx Safeway Cargo TNT is willing to work to address any concerns raised by employees even though not to his knowledge as well as plans and to improve its operations.
