Fassell Completes Soil Testing For Stadium Construction

Football Club Fassell of the Liberia Football Association first division, have completed a significant phase of their stadium project known as the soil testing exercise in order to ascertain the ability of the land to host the weight of the million dollars facility.
On Sunday August 18, 2024, the team management led an array of European sporting experts and construction engineers to the city of Marshall, Margibi County where the U$ 4.5 million stadium is to be constructed in less than three years from now.
Reports gathered suggest that there was a greenlight given to the team Chief Executive Officer Cassell Kouh and his officials concerning the space provided which depicts that the Construction will begin in the soonest possible time.
According to sources closed to the club’s president, the testing was successful by the high-power foreign delegation and the engineers are currently in Liberia holding different conversations with the club leadership around the commencement of the project.
Our sources confirmed that the construction of the mini-stadium will be undertaken by the China Railway Seventh Group, known for their exceptional work on the Southern Arena in Bo City, Sierra Leone.
This initiative is part of Cassell Kouh’s broader efforts to advance football infrastructure in Liberia, highlighting his commitment to transforming the sport in the country.
When completed in the coming years, the stadium will serve as the official home ground of FC Fassell national first division squad and also provide a facility for the Fassell Football Academy where all training and sporting activities of the institution will be conducted.
Fassell believes that the stadium will be one of the best individual team’s properties in the west African region that will attract foreign attention to Liberian football programs.
The stadium will accordingly be situated on a 10-Acres of land hosting 3,000 sitting capacity from the initial stage with space and ideas for extension in the future.
