A 36-year old man, Uriah Dahn, was over the weekend arrested by the Liberia National Police for allegedly impersonating as an AFL Officer in Ganta, Nimba County. Speaking at the Police Station in Ganta, Mr. Mohamed B. Sesay accused Uriah Dahn of refusing to pay his hotel bill after staying in the hotel for five days with two girls who traveled with him under the pretext that he works with the Ministry of National Defense and assigned in Monrovia.
Mohamed B. Sesay told the Police that Uriah Dahn told him that he was a Master Sergeant with assignment at the Ministry of National Defense in Monrovia, but that he went to Ganta to get loan from a Businessman, Samuel Brown, to enable him settle a pressing family problem in Monrovia.
Sesay added that in an attempt to flee Ganta to an undisclosed destination with the two girls, Uriah Dahn was nabbed by officers of the Liberia National Police for investigation into the case.
When contacted, suspect Uriah Dahn who was already cuffed, refused to speak to the Press on ground that the case was before the Police for investigation and when the Police was contacted by this paper, it was established that Uriah Dahn was a notorious criminal who always posed as a military personnel working for the Liberian government.
Meanwhile, Police told this paper over the weekend that suspect Uriah Dahn will be charged accordingly after completing the investigation and be sent to court for prosecution.
