Schools On Birth Anniversary

By Grace Q. Bryant
As part of this year’s birthday celebration, the Director of the Executive Protection Service (EPS) Trokon Roberts has identified with two public schools in Paynesville.
The schools that benefited from the EPS boss’s kind birthday gesture are Jones L. Moore Public School and Kendeja Elementary School.
Speaking on Wednesday, October 26, at the birthday celebration in Paynesville, the EPS boss said, “It is not easy to leave my busy schedule to come and celebrate with the kids on my birthday. I should have been somewhere different to celebrate it, but I have chosen to celebrate it with you all.”
According to him, the two principals of the schools should also call upon him whenever the schools are undertaking projects.
The EPS Director narrated that the challenges students are undergoing these days need attention; assuring them that he will also help whenever he is called upon.
For her part, Covenant Sister for Humanity (CS4H) President, Florence Tawalah said Trokon is one of the principal sponsors of the organization that has been working with the group over the years by supporting projects and other initiatives.
Madam Tawalah noted that the EPS boss choose to celebrate his birthday with the two schools by donating 50 chairs to the Jone L. Moore Public School and also renovating the bathroom and elevating the fence of Kendeja Elementary School as part of his promises made months ago.
CS4H President disclosed that the chairs donated to the Jone L. Moore Public School were worth over US$1000; stating that the total cost of the two schools is in the tone of US$3000.
She intimated that Roberts is expected to carry on more initiatives to ensure that students of the schools get a better learning environment, stressing that CS4H is a non-governmental organization that was organized to give to less fortunate children.
Also speaking, the Principal of Kendeja Elementary School, Madam Magdalene P. Brown revealed that the gesture from the EPS boss took the school by surprise; saying that not many persons will identify with a primary school and a public school.
Madam Brown then wished Robert many blessings for what he has done for the schools and students at large.
Giving the birthday message on behalf of the schools, student David said, “Trokon Robert, we wish you a happy blessed birthday.”
Student David added, “Your age is just a number that God has given you and hope that this celebration will give you many more happy memories!”
