Eastern Star Chapter Identifies With Disadvantaged Children

The Noami Chapter #12 Order of Eastern Star Annual Charity over the weekend identified with a group dubbed ‘Disadvantage Children American for Africans Orphanages home’ located in 101 Community in Paynesville.
Items donated included; food stuff, bag of flour, half bag of sugar, sacks of tissues, cartoon of marcel fish, cartoon of cream wheat, bags of pampers, and a cartoon Clorax.
Others assorted stuff donated included, cartoons of washing and bath soap, gallons of oil, bags of rice, big tin of milk, small bucket of butter and gallon of delta among others.
Making the presentation to the school, Ina W. Christensan, Wty Matron, Noami Chapter #12 Order Eastern Star said the initiative is carried out by his institution annually.
She asserted that the group obligated itself to always make children that are in dire need happy expressing among other things that, they were making the donation to the school from their own willingness for the upkeep of the children during this time of the pandemic.
Christensan however expressed the Star’s sympathy for the loss of one of the children of the home, and prayed that the Lord Almighty grants both the staffers and students of the school protection.
“We hope of returning to the home again before the ends of the year as there are no plans to abandon the home, but we will be there to always make the children happy as others were there yesterday too for us,” she noted.
In response, the Manager of the Orphanage Home, Oretha James, thanked Chapter #12 of the Eastern Order for the gesture and prayed that the Lord will continue to multiply whatever assistance that may come from them always.
She then thanked the giver both the organization and individuals for their continuous goodwill gesture for the survival of tomorrow’s people or future leaders who shall take over from them as their ages continue to advance or get older daily.
AFAA was established since 2010 to either care for the needy mainly the disadvantaged or abandoned children.
