A health-based organization, DKT-International, has opened a two-day workshop on sexual and reproductive training for health workers in the country.
The training which is considered a Trainer-of-Trainer’s Workshop is specifically designed to look at Obstetric Care which deals with miscarriage and abortion as well as Pose Pattern Hemorrhage (PPH), that deals with complications mostly affecting women with bleeding after complications.
The training ceremony brought together authorities from the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Liberia Midwifery Assistance, Clinicians from DKT and DKT’s health representatives from Ghana.
Both DKT-International Country Manager Antonio Turco and the Managing Director of D.m.e.s.s.a.g.e, Sola Odeja, told this paper that, DKT has purposed to extend its programs to other parts of the country in the soonest possible time.
Elaborating further, Antonio said, his company will remain supportive of the government’s agenda within the health sector of the country thereby promising that the DKT-International will remain committed to providing those basic health needs that Liberians will need.
They laud the Liberian government for the confidence reposed in DKT-International since its inception into the country several years ago.
Antonio wants Liberians and other nationals living in the country to have confidence in DKT-International, as it is ready to offer to the country some of the best and reliable medical service brands that they will pay less to get.
