Determine Girls Win Women Orange Cup Again

The third time champion of the Liberia Football Association Upper Women league, Determine Girls Football Club, shattered the 2022/23 Lower Women League Champion, Shaita Angels Football Club, in the final of the Orange Cup.
Determine Girls’ threefold hope remained alive after defeating Shaita Angels FC 2-1 in the LFA Orange Cup Final, on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the AntoinetteTubman Stadium.
Shaita Angels, who recently gained promotion in the LFA Upper Women league by emerging as winner of the lower league proved too many people that predicted a weakling final wrong.
Many felt that the three times champions, Determine Girls, were going to have a walk-over the Lower League Champions Shaita Mabinty Camara and Kantie Saydee that give Master Queen’ girls a 2-1 win after Malusu Blamah got the consolation for Benita Urey Girls.
What was interesting is the side attraction, emotion and rivalry between the two clubs.
A clash of two champions, Determine Girls (Upper league) and Shaita Angels (Lower league). The rivalry of the LFA Orange cup ended in favor of Determine Girls, but the Super Cup is next.
Determine Girls will later this year represent Liberia in the Confederation of African Football Women Champions league.
