DEN-L Gets New Leadership

The Development Education Network-Liberia (DEN-L) has inducted its new officials for the next four years in Liberia.
Those inducted into office included Peter S. Dolo, Executive Director of DEN-L and Beatrice K. Sondah, Deputy Director for Program respectively.
Delivering his directorial speech, the newly inducted director, Peter S. Dolo, pledged his administration’s commitment to protect the legacy of DEN-L.
Mr. Dolo in his keynote address lauded the past Leadership of DEN-L for the level of work done in keeping the institution’s dreams and goals alive.
The DEN-L newly inducted Director further promised to engage former Directors of the entity for their full support to his leadership for the overall improvement of the Civil Society Organization.
He also used the medium to appreciate all staffs for their corporation and support to the entity for the past years.
Moreover, the outgoing Director of the institution, Johnson Z. Kesselly has challenged the new leadership of DEN-L to take all responsibilities in running affairs of the entity.
Mr. Kesselly however described his administration as rewarding and prefect based on the numerous contributions and supports, he received from partners, staffs, and past Directors.
The DEN-L outgoing leader revealed that he foresees improvement under the administration of the new Director with a call on all staffs to work together for the sustainability of the entity.
Mr. Kesselly, who was honored and gowned by staffers in collaboration with the Board of DEN-L for his work at the local non-governmental, non-partisan institution, emphasized that despite he is leaving the position, he remains committed to the development of DEN-L.
Also remaking, at the ceremony, the Development Education Network-Liberia Board Chairman, Yarkpawolo Z. Kolva, lauded the outgoing Director for the level of work done at the entity under his leadership.
He further encouraged the new leadership to uphold the integrity and dignity of DEN-L. He believes that by doing so, it will help in keeping on the foundational principles of the organization.
The induction ceremony which was held on October 18, 2024, at the DEN-L Compound in Gbarnga, Bong County, brought together local officials of government, Civil Society organizations, International Civil Society Organizations, partners, citizens among others.
DEN-L is a local non-governmental, non-partisan, secular and non-profit-making organization established for facilitating programs that promote quality human development, responsible and responsive leadership, and an empowered fellowship that appreciates its gender differentness.
