Criminal Court ‘A’ Bailiff Jailed In Buchanan

The Resident Circuit Judge of the Second Judicial in Grand Bassa County, Judge Joe S. Barkon has sent to jail for 30 days a bailiff of Criminal Court ‘A’, Prince Koon for impersonating as a lawyer.
“Can you imagine, Prince Koon was brave to ask for gown and wear in the name of being a lawyer and he was allowed to practice before the Second Judicial Circuit Court on separate occasions; December 23 and 30, 2024, respectively,” Judge Barkon expressed his frustration.
Prince Koon claimed to be a graduate of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law but after verification, it was established he has never even enrolled therein and failed to show the year which he graduated.
Koon is an employee of the Judiciary and assigned as bailiff at Criminal ‘A’ at the Temple of Justice.
Meanwhile, Judge Barkon has ordered the Clerk to do a formal complaint to the Chief Justice and the Court Administrator immediately after the New Year Holiday.
