The Ministry of Commerce requests all the relevant importers who obtained Import Notification Forms (INF) for frozen food between November 3, 2023 and February 6, 2024 to contact the Ministry of Commerce and Industry beginning Tuesday, March 5, 2024 to discuss the concerns.
It appears that there was an issuance of unusual quantity of INFs for frozen food issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry under former Minister Mawanie Diggs.
Therefore, as part of the process, all relevant importers are requested to go to the Ministry along with copies of the Import Notification Forms and all other necessary documents validating and confirming the shipment of the products for which the Import Notification Forms were granted.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said it looks forward to the cooperation of all those concerned.
