Celebrating Excellence —As Liberia Medical Sector Awards 70

The Shirley Noel Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MoH), the Liberian Medical and Dental Council (LMDC), and other major sponsors from the health sector, will host the “Liberia Medical Summit and Excellence Awards 2024.”
The event is the first of its kind since the end of the Liberian civil war and will be held at the Monrovia City on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The ceremony will honor 70 distinguished individuals across various health professions, recognizing their exceptional contributions to Liberia’s healthcare system.
All six Health Associations under the Liberia Medical and Dental Council will also be awarded for their dedication and service to the people of Liberia.
“We believe it is time to properly recognize and celebrate these true Liberian heroes for their work and personal sacrifices,” said Dr. Shirley Helen, the CEO of The Shirley Noel Group.
“These awards will inspire a strong work ethic and dedication to service among healthcare professionals in Liberia and beyond,” she added.
The awards will be presented to doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and allied health workers who have shown unwavering commitment to their communities and the nation while hospitals and other health service providers will be recognized for their exceptional contributions to the healthcare delivery system in Liberia.
