Cecelia Alpha Contemplates On Winning Upper Women League As New Head Coach Of Ravia Angels

The newly appointed head coach of the Liberia Football Association Upper Women League Club, Ravia Angels, Madam Cecelia Alpha, is hopeful of winning the upcoming league season with her new club. 

The Women’s Upper League appointed the Confederation of African Football (CAF) License ‘C’ Diploma holder as head coach, to steer the affairs and enhance the club’s performance all through the new league season.

Her appointment came on Tuesday evening, during the unveiling ceremony of new officials, held at the office of the Club in Monrovia.

Speaking after her appointment, Miss Cecelia Alpha said that it is always an honor to serve Women’s football, and she sees it as a stepping stone.

She vowed to help take the club to the next level, adding that her mission is to win the Women’s Upper League with Ravia Angels.

“I am happy to be here, this is a club with passionate players and I promise to do all I can to win the league with Ravia Angels this season”.

Also Speaking, the newly appointed President of the Club, Madam Ophelia Gotee, extended her thanks and appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer of Ravia Angels, Madam Jodie Redie-Seton, third Vice President of the Liberia Football Association, for trusting her, looking forward to working with other officials of the club in making sure that Ravia gets all they need support.

Madam Gotee also believes that with the help of other officials, Ravia Angels can achieve their target of the season by winning the Women’s Upper League.

“I am here to take this club to another level, but I can’t do this all alone, we can only achieve this if we work together and I believe that we all can achieve this. I am thankful to the CEO for trusting me and I am here to give my all to this beautiful club,” said Madam Gotee.

Ravia Angels got promoted to the Women’s Upper League as Runners-up to Shaita Angels.

With the arrival of several new officials, Ravia believe they can compete for the championship.
