BRAC Liberia Microfinance Company Limited, one of the leading financial institutions in the country, has celebrated the exceptional contributions of its staff during the 2024 Best Performance Awards ceremony at a local resort in Monrovia.
The event yesterday was a grand celebration of hard work, dedication, and excellence, as employees from 12 out of Liberia’s 15 counties gathered to acknowledge the achievements that have propelled the institution forward.
BRAC Liberia Microfinance, known for its strong emphasis on empowering women in the workplace, took the opportunity to highlight the outstanding efforts of its female workforce, who make up the majority of its staff.
This year’s award ceremony was not just a recognition of individual success but also a testament to the collective commitment of BRAC Liberia’s Microfinance team, who have demonstrated resilience and excellence in their various roles.
The ceremony featured several categories of awards, including Best Regional Manager, Best Branch Manager, Best Branch Accountant, and Best Credit Officer, among others, as these awards are given to employees who have gone beyond in their respective roles, showing leadership, integrity, and innovation in their service to the institution and the community.
In his address to his employees, BRAC Liberia’s Microfinance CEO, Dyson Ziviso Madenvenga, expressed gratitude to the awardees and all employees for their dedication over the past year, and said, “This celebration is about more than just handing out awards; it’s about acknowledging the dedication and hard work that drives BRAC Liberia’s success.”
“So, I am grateful for all your contributions towards this company because each of you has contributed to making BRAC Liberia Microfinance a beacon of hope and financial inclusion in Liberia. Today, we recognize your exceptional efforts,” he noted.
According to him, the recognition of these outstanding staff members is a reflection of BRAC Liberia’s Microfinance commitment to fostering an environment of growth, where hard work is celebrated and excellence is rewarded.
He disclosed that the awardees were selected through a rigorous process that considered not just individual performance but also their ability to positively impact their communities and the broader mission of BRAC Liberia Microfinance.
CEO Ziviso also revealed that among the top performers recognized were the Best Regional Manager, who displayed remarkable leadership skills, and the Best Credit Officers, whose efforts in financial inclusion helped improve access to credit for many underserved communities.
“Special attention was also given to the Best Branch Managers and Accountants for their exemplary roles in ensuring the smooth operation of BRAC’s branches across Liberia. So, this ceremony today served as an opportunity for staff to come together and celebrate the success of this noble institution,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, as BRAC Liberia Microfinance continues to grow and make a significant impact in the microfinance sector, the institution said it remains committed to recognizing the hard work of its employees and empowering them to reach new heights.
