T. Destiny Sisters (TDS) head coach, Porkpah Flomo, has released his eighteen-woman kickball squad for Bong County, as the 2023/24 National County Sports Meet kickoff is expected in less than three days. Among the names released are five players from T. Destiny Sisters Kickball club and four others from Ayounda Kickball Club, who are all local based players.
The four players (Sianneh Mulbah, Sonnie Ballah, Lawvina Tengbeh, and Mary Partee) selected from Ayounda have had county meet experience, like Cecelia Flomo of TDS, while her mates, Ruth Beyan, Benetor Kelly, Princess Dean, and Klubo Awee Kollie, will have the chance to make their first appearance for Bong in this year’s competition.
Flomo won the 2023 Bong County Kickball Championship with T. Destiny Sisters KC and was appointed by the Bong County Sports Steering Committee to take charge of the Kpatawee Girls this year, after Cephus Lewis Cephus turned down the chance to serve the position.
Cephus guided Bong County girls to the semifinal last year, but lost to Nimba, and were also defeated by Margibi in the 3rd Place Play-off.
Flomo, a new Liberia Kickball Federation License A coach, will, for the first time, stand in the dugout for Bong as a head coach.
