The Best Ones Football Academy (BOFA) says it is not complacent despite 9-0 win in a test match over their opponents.
According to the club’s President, Joel Kerbor, his boys played a game with a high demonstration of the trainings conducted which proves to the team leadership that they are willing to learn and push forward professional careers in sport in the future.
However, the football stakeholder’s concern is set to have a team that could not only be seen winning a first test match but a team that will institute a win mechanism and a developed football philosophy that will always yield result.
According to him, the weekend match being their first of many matches to be held in the coming days for BOFA to test the ability of those desiring opportunities to play for the new academy, the management is pleased that the young stars won with an overwhelming result.
“Even though we won our first test match against our opponent who came to the game few years before our vision, as the founding president of BOFA in my own name want to make it clear that I’m neither impressed nor complacent with the boys’ performance,” Joel told a post-match commentary.
He further revealed that the tactics of those training the team were seen which motivated many fans leaving them with the impression that the future of football could be saved by BOFA.
He added, “They played well and the match was such an entertaining one. We saw result in the few minutes they performed before our own eyes at the pitch. However we saw it prudent to make more use of the challenges we saw from them than celebrating the victory they got in this instant case.”
The president of the Best Ones Football Academy also reaffirmed that the academy is doing everything possible to structure a full operation strategy and institutional mechanism to have the dreams of the grassroots players in its operational areas and surrounding communities under a proper management.
