Boakai Receives Additional Letter Of Credence

President Joseph Boakai continues to advance Liberia’s global partnerships as he formally welcomes three new Ambassadors to the country.
On Tuesday November 26, at a ceremony held at the Executive Mansion, President Boakai received Letters of Credence from the Ambassadors of Colombia, Switzerland, and Mauritania, signaling a renewed commitment to fostering international collaboration.
The newly appointed Ambassadors Daniel Graces Carabali of Colombia, Dominique Michel Favre of Switzerland, and Mohamed Abdellahi Khattra of Mauritania, pledged to work closely with Liberia to enhance bilateral ties and promote mutual development.
In his remarks, President Boakai emphasized the importance of diplomacy in advancing Liberia’s national interests.
He underscored the historical and economic potential of Liberia’s relationship with Colombia, highlighting opportunities for trade and investment.
Ambassador Carabali, in response, reaffirmed Colombia’s shared cultural and historical connections with Africa and expressed enthusiasm for deepening ties in key sectors.
In a related diplomatic development, President Boakai has commended Switzerland for its contributions to Liberia’s development, particularly in improving water systems.
He discussed the potential for broader economic and trade cooperation with Ambassador Favre, who echoed Liberia’s vision, stressing the need to sustain and expand existing partnerships.
On the other hand, the dialogue with Mauritania’s Ambassador Mohamed Abdellahi Khattra, centered on mutual respect and international collaboration.
President Boakai acknowledged the shared values between the two nations, while Ambassador Khattra vowed to build on the strong foundation of their bilateral relationship.
The ceremony underscored Liberia’s proactive approach to global diplomacy and its focus on partnerships that drive shared progress.
