President Joseph Boakai has extended warm congratulations to the Government and people of Türkiye on the occasion marking the celebration of that country’s National Day on October 29, 2024.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai stressed that as Liberians join in the celebration of this historic event, his government looks forward to strengthening the bilateral relations for the mutual benefits of the two countries and peoples.
The Liberian leader also admonished the strong partnership, growth and development in the mining and other sectors.
He furthered that his government appreciates the Government of Türkiye for supporting the aspirations of the Liberian people in critical areas such as health, education, agriculture and capacity building.
“I look forward to a more rewarding friendship and cooperation that will benefit our both nations and peoples,” President Boakai stated.
He then extended sincere best wishes to the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for continuous peace and prosperity of his family and the people of Türkiye.
Meanwhile, the President has also congratulated the Government and People of the Czech Republic on the auspicious occasion commemorating the National Day Anniversary of that Country on October 28, 2024.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakia, in his message to his Czech counterpart, Petr Pavel, expressed his delight and extended warm congratulations to the Government and People of the Czech Republic as they celebrate this historic event.
The Liberia leader added, “As we join you in the celebration of this historic event, we look forward to strengthening the bilateral and multilateral relations subsisting between our two governments and peoples.”
He entertained the ardent hope that the friendship between the two countries will continue to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of their mutual cooperation.
The Liberian leader further expressed his earnest desire that, under his administration the two countries will add new impetus to their relationship aimed at expanding cooperation between the both nations specifically in the areas of agriculture, roads, energy, rule of law and tourism.
The Liberian Chief Executive also extended his sincere best wishes for President Petr Pavel’s personal well-being, and for the continued peace and prosperity of his family as well as the people of Czech Republic.
