Boakai Foundation Donates To Redemption Hospital

The Joseph Boakai Foundation, in collaboration with CURE, a US-based organization, has made a significant contribution to the Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town.
The donation of several assorted medical materials was made over the weekend to enhance health services and support the medical staff in their daily operations.
The Deputy Executive Director, Henry Flanpor, remarked the importance of supporting healthcare institutions, adding that, the medial equipment is in fulfillment of President Joseph Boakai’s commitment to the Redemption Hospital.
According to him, during the campaign season, the President made a brief stop at the Redemption Hospital to assess the challenges they are faced with, especially in such a densely populated environment.
“In recognition of the significant challenges faced by the healthcare delivery sector, President Boakai, through his foundation, decided to donate assorted medical supplies to the Redemption Hospital,” he added.
“This is just the beginning, the Redemption Hospital will remain one of the Foundation’s key partners in the healthcare delivery sector,” he acknowledged.
The Chairperson of the Foundation, expressed pleasure in partnering with the Redemption Hospital as according to him, the Foundation is happy to be associated with the hospital and looks forward to continuing the partnership, with hopes of providing more medical supplies in the future.
A Medical Doctor, Tamba Combianor, from the Foundation mentioned that, during his recent visits to the hospital over the past months, he observed a significant lack of equipment and assured that the arrival of the Foundation’s container would be a blessing to the hospital.
“The hospital has made numerous sacrifices, and the name ‘Redemption’ holds great significance. These assorted medical materials will bring redemption to this facility and the surrounding communities. Thank you so much for accepting this token on behalf of the foundation,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Tina Lacwani, extended thanks and appreciation to the Foundation for the kind gesture committing that, the hospital will use the materials for the intended purposes and for the good of the Liberian people.
“Redemption is a free hospital operated by the government and we receive over 400 to 500 patients seeking help each day. These materials will be very helpful, and we are extremely grateful,” Dr. Lacwani noted.
The Administrator, Stephanie C. Gbanya, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Redemption Hospital administration to the Foundation for fulfilling its promises heaping God’s blessings upon the Foundation beyond all limits.
