President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has sent a Condolence Message to his counterpart, the President of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, following the death of at least 10 persons, including its Chief of Defense Forces, General Francis Ogolla, on Thursday, April 18, 2024, when a helicopter crashed in the western part of Kenya.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and in his own name, extended heartfelt condolences to President Ruto and the people of Kenya, particularly the bereaved family for the irreparable loss sustained.
The Liberian leader Indicated that his sincere prayers and thoughts are with President Ruto, during this difficult period of national morning.
